Quick Tip in Bangkok: Café Siriwan
It was only our second day in Bangkok and we were walking around still trying to get used with the heating. The we found Café Siriwan, a small, but cute door that could be a great pause for a cold coffee and maybe something to snack. We went inside to find a very friendly atmosphere. Besides the drinks and the sweets were absolutely delicious, we met also the super helpful owner and her friend. They gave us amazing tips and some great minutes of random conversation.
The place is absolutely charming and very different from what you can find in Bangkok. Besides being small, it is very well decorated a little bit inspired in the westerns cafés. One very important fact is that they have Air Conditioner!
Their menu is actually not big and the options of something to eat are very limited, but everything we tried tasted pretty good. We’ve been there for two days and if we visit Bangkok again, we definitely we are going to go back there. For both days I had a Iced Coffee and Simon had an Iced Chocolate, to follow we both had the amazing brownies! It was super delicious!
Their location is pretty central and on the wall you can see a very nice map of the city and have a great idea on what to visit around there. If you got interested to know a bit more about a touristic point, just ask her! She won’t only give you some advice about the place, but also the best way to get there and very valuable tips on going around Bangkok.
If you need a refreshment in Bangkok, don’t think twice! 😉
